Christine Kennedy is the Administrative Assistant to the Sheriff and has been with the Sheriff's Office since July of 1999. One of five children, Chris was raised in Geauga County. She lived in Chardon, Claridon and Burton before enlisting in the US Navy, where she spent 22 years. Chris's mother worked for the Chardon Library for 36 years while her father worked at Chardon Rubber for 26 years.
Chris is married, and has one daughter and a son-in-law in the Marines. They have two sons.
At the Sheriff's office she assists with budget preparation, tracks purchases and payments, schedules appointments for the Sheriff, Chief Deputy and the Lieutenants. She prepares and maintains all administrative correspondence and associated files, and is responsible for maintaining all personnel files.
