Deputy Matsik and Marko
Deputy Matsik and Marko Deputy Matsik has been a canine handler since 1985. Deputy Matsik is currently assigned to the Environmental Enforcement Division. His partner, K-9 Marko, is a male German Shepherd. Deputy Matsik and Marko are certified through the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy in the area of Special Purpose, Explosives Detection and Patrol.

Deputy Adamle with Patrick, Jake and Maeve
Deputy Adamlee with Patrick, Jake & Maeve Deputy Adamle has been a dog handler since 1996 and in Search and Rescue since 2002.  She has three Golden Retrievers:  Patrick, eight years old specializes in article/evidence search, cadaver search and area/wilderness search.  Jake, six years old, specializes in cadaver search and tracking/trailing.  Maeve, two years old specializes in disaster search, tracking/trailing, and area/wilderness search.  All K-9's are certified with North American Police Work Dog Association and the National Association of Search and Rescue.  Deputy Adamle was assigned to the Geauga County Sheriff's Office, as a volunteer with the K-9 Unit in 2009.
 
Deputy Lesko and Doc
Deputy Lesko and Doc Deputy Lesko has been in Law Enforcement since 1991 and with Geauga County Sheriff's Office, assigned to the K-9 unit, as a volunteer, since 2000.  Deputy Lesko has been a K-9 handler since 1997 in the field of cadaver detection with her K-9's.  Her current partner is Doc, a male German Shepherd.  Deputy Lesko and Doc are a certified Cadaver Detection Team, through the North American Police Work Dog Association.  K-9 Doc can locate human remains on land and in water.  Deputy Lesko and her K-9's have assisted many law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, BCI&I, DEA and other local agencies on missing persons and criminal cases.  They have located human remains, bones and blood evidence on numerous cases over the years.
